Think. When Ayu was pondering about defense and protecting others, a shield was coming to her mind. Or rather a concept of one, a durable wall that would be able to keep others at bay. She was no knight in shining armor and had no intentions of acting as one... But that motive could be helpful. After all, she was able to create a barrier, even if the last time she used it, was years ago. And Ayu activated it on instinct, almost forgetting about what she was capable of for all this time... This didn't testify in her favor, did it? She remembered that she check on the chick of the crows laying in the nest, but the parents didn't approve of her help. They were suspecting that she only has malicious intentions toward their children, and to not be pecked and scratched, Ayu created a barrier... A shield from her own energy, that acted like a wall and let her treat the chick in peace before returning it to the pair of crows. That was it, that was the whole story... Nothing extreme or really dangerous happened.
So how about now? Ayu scratched her chin walking around in circles. The pressure was pushing her to the ground, but she wasn't going to give up just yet. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to start training in the Gravity Chamber, but if she won't jump into the deep water, she won't ever learn to swim. Figuratively of course.
Ayu stopped. She closed her eyes and joined her hands, creating a vision of a delicate bubble with vivid green color. When it came to plants, everything was happening naturally - would she be even able to weave her energy in the way needed to make a barrier? Could she even begin to try controlling her Ki if she couldn't sense herself properly? A dozen of doubts started to prickle her mind, and she started sweating. Maybe the training was a bad idea all along... But the thought of giving up never crossed her mind. Let's see. Energy. She needed to focus, even if it was a hellish feat inside gravity that strong. Ayu poured her Ki into her hands, smoothing it, building it up with a circular motion of her hand. Smooth walls grew translucent like glass and malleable like soft candy. The whole thing rocked gently to the size, following the gesture of Ayu's hand, but when it closed into a perfectly round ball, it stopped moving, solidifying instead. Was that it..?
Ayu peeked open one of her eyes to see a transparent, circular bubble made of energy. The walls were in pleasant emerald color, and in a way, it looked like a soap bubble was resting on the palm of her hand. Her gaze softened with surprise and gladness - she did it. She poked the barrier with her finger... Felt solid and smooth and Ayu smiled a little. She would be quite content with herself, though a sudden idea crossed her mind. What if she would try to hide anyone that would be inside? Well, she can't exactly conceal her energy and any attempt so far has failed spectacularly. If the Ki inside her is a problem, maybe she would be able to create a barrier that would conceal the energy of anyone that's inside? Of course, it wasn't a long-term solution to her lack of control, but it could be helpful in dire situations... Or would be great to aid those who, like her, weren't exactly able to conceal their presence. But how is she going to practice that? She was able to create a barrier, but any other effect felt a bit too farfetched for her to handle.
Or maybe not? Ayu raised her hand and a tendril started to grow, slipping between the mechanism of the hatch. The plant grew up a leaf - although a little slowly, because the gravity wasn't helping the flora to properly develop. The young woman picked the leaf and made the vines return outside, glancing at the green shape between her fingers. There was a faint amount of Ki in this one... Flora held energy inside them too, like any other living being, but it was diffused in all their tissues. It didn't work the same way as in the creatures with bones, flesh, and blood. Ayu pressed the leaf against her lips, in a way apologizing for taking its life and using it for training, at the same time thanking it for letting her grow. One dies so the other could thrive.
With a sigh Ayu deactivated the barrier, placing the leaf in the palm of her hand. The process repeated itself. She waved her Ki gently, the energy started to gather forming a rim that was evolving into a wall in a pure green color. Inside it, a single pale leaf was placed... But she didn't even have to focus to sense the faint Ki in it. Ayu sat down on the floor in her position to meditate, trying to figure out how to alter the barrier. What could she do to block the ability to sense what was hidden inside? More Ki pumped into the walls to make it stronger wasn't an obvious choice, yeah, it should only make it more obvious that something was inside. It could have been visible too, but she just wanted to conceal anything that was inside. A task perhaps too hard for her? She wasn't sure.
She got all the time she needed. There was a moment to adjust the amount of Ki and its hue. Ayu sat in silence, with her hand above the forcefield she created, its color slowly melting into a paler shade of green, the other time it was as dark as the tinted windows of sports cars. What if she made Ki denser... Or looser? No, then the barrier won't be able to withstand the damage. But... What if she would try making two walls, fusing them after? As she thought about it, her energy hardened, creating a shield around the leaf. But above that, with the sweat dripping out of Ayu's temple, she created another layer. Made from loosely spread energy, that was in a way active and blocking the ability to sense Ki of others? Perhaps that was stained with something else than only energy? She dared not to call it magic, but in the end, she didn't know what she has exactly done. The important thing was, that after she connected the two layers, Ayu held her breath and blinked, gazing at her creation.
She couldn't sense the leaf that was inside her energy barrier.

She could already feel the relief, but Ayu wasn't finished today. One of the steps was behind her, which was indeed great, but she needed to do more, to strike the iron while it was still hot... To train while her resolve was burning and while she had the time to do so. No one knew what the next day is going to bring... And she needed to be careful. It stopped being only about her a long time ago, and she felt selfish only now taking action - but better late than never.
Yes, she had this thought before, didn't she? Ayu blinked, stroking her cheek a little and looking at the circular glass-like creation made of her own energy on her hand. If one would be stubborn enough, it could even pass as a ball for playing? But Ayu was able to expend it to hide inside someone of her size or even way bigger, it all depended on the amount of Ki used. And for practice, she was taking a little bit of her energy to mold and shape it as she pleased. It would be a bad idea to overdo it in a Gravity Chamber when her stamina was laying low already and she should avoid unnecessary strains.
But... Invisibility. That would mean not only masking what's inside, right? If she'd be able to do that, it was obvious that the opponent could grow suspicious as to why an empty forcefield was placed in the middle of the open space. No, if she was going to follow that logic, Ayu needed something that would also make the green walls of her barrier able to block perception. Just how? Through trials and errors, she was able to make a wall that could block energy from being sensed, even if only for a little while. Making it inaccessible for other senses wasn't going to be that easy... But she was ought to try. Stretching her fingers and wiping sweat from her face, Ayu deactivated the barrier once again to check the state of the leaf inside. The energy was small, faint, but clear and full of life. Right... Creating another wall that blocked her from sensing this tiny bit of flora was easier than before. But now what? How was she going to make it invisible? She couldn't create a mirror on the surface of her forcefield, it needed to look like there really wasn't anything there... But not too much of course. A circle of black emptiness would be as suspicious as an empty energy barrier flying around.
Yet in this way, she could hide those dear to her from danger. Was it a vain hope that she pinned on her idea..? Or quite a reasonable thought it was, but only if used right? Ayu pondered about it with a heavy head, coming to one simple conclusion. That it won't hurt to try.
The tiny barrier in her hand expanded a bit, from the tennis ball size growing to something that looked more like a green bowling ball. Ayu clenched her lips into a thin line, focusing on the amount of Ki that she was trying to process. She made two layers earlier, didn't she? One for the actual barrier, and the other one to mask the energy present inside. How should she tackle the idea of making this invisible? The young woman was scratching her chin thoughtfully, wondering if it would be possible to alter any of the present layers, or maybe apply another one? Maybe it won't hurt to add one more, on top of everything else. And as she thought, Ayu make her energy stretch and grow. The surface of the barrier twitched and rippled as if it was made of water. Quite the fascinating view... Another thinner than her hair wall was added, but it didn't change anything, at all. Even the color of the barrier wasn't altered. What she should do about that... When she was making the energy more dense and concentrated, the barrier felt heavy and the hue outside was getting darker. If she was trying to make it lose, swirling around as to reflect light, the wall was growing transparent as if it was made of clear glass - the only problem was that the leaf on her hand was perfectly visible.
No, she was doing something wrong. Ayu murmured something to herself softly, glancing at the orb in her hands, watching it from every side, and poking it carefully. She even knocked it to hear a dull, echoing sound inside... Well, it didn't help in any way but it satisfied her curiosity. The issue of transparency wasn't too big, but aside from the walls, the content needed to disappear too. Just how could she achieve this? That was tricky and Ayu felt like her lack of understanding energy was making it worse, but even if it will take longer, she will have to figure it out on her own.
Perhaps the layer of loose, reactive Ki was the answer. Lightly gesturing above the surface of the forcefield, Ayu made the layer twitch and move. The energy was trembling in a way that was reacting to the light, blocking perception enough to make it impossible to see her barrier. Right, the pretty green shield turned completely transparent, like it was never there - but the leaf was almost mockingly now laying on her hand. Ayu rubbed the bridge of her nose, frowning a little. What does she need to do now? Maybe she should add one more coating of her energy? Well, she tried and it didn't do anything - it even made things worse as the surface of her barrier was now turning greyish. She was doing something wrong... From the other side, it looked like the young woman was turning around an invisible ball with a floating leaf inside. Hm... From the other side?
Ayu's eyes widened a little and she pressed her hand against the barrier. This time she was stretching and molding a bit of her energy from the inside of the shield, to cover every inch of the other side of the wall. Only then the energy could move around, twirling softly and the image of the leaf started to fade... Right. Ayu felt a ball in her hands, but there was nothing there - nothing to see, nothing to sense... It still was pretty able to be sensed by touch, but everything else was hidden. Oh, that was quite the training...
